In the Community

Vibrant Health Company established its headquarters in 2015 in Marquette, Michigan, a stunning upper peninsula city on the shores of Lake Superior. Civic engagement and volunteerism are vital to Vibrant Health Company. We enjoy deep ties to many community organizations and give our time generously. Simply put, we value people over profit.

In 2023, we established professional relations with Northern Michigan University to become a workforce training clinic offering social work students rich learning experiences in our specialized programs. Tai Chi & Qi Gong Classes

The David & Thu Brulè YMCA of Marquette County is home to the Marquette Tai Chi Club. Beginners are always welcome, and advanced Budokai (students of the way) receive additional instruction tailored to their level.

The gentle movement practices known as tai chi and qi gong (TCQG) are based on ancient Taoist philosophies that promote longevity, health, vitality, and well-being. These practices focus on harnessing energy (Chi) and breath (Qi) and are thought to date back to at least the eighth century BCE in China. Because they are intuitive medicine, they are known as internal arts. TCQG is reparative, therapeutic, cathartic, and transformational. Robust evidence exists for this medical exercise, often called meditation in motion. For current information on classes, please check the YMCA group classes page here

Workshops for Social Workers and Allied Professionals

Field Practicum and Advanced Praxis instruction are Traci's signature pedagogy, delivered through immersive, experiential, collaborative, small-group learning opportunities and residency.
